The Lamborghini Aventador supercar has been updated for the 2013 calendar year, shedding a bit of clothing the way. The new 2013 Lamborghini Aventador Roadster features the same 6.5L v12 engine of its predecessor, but this model comes topless. Like the Lamborghini Aventador J concept, the new roadster features a convertible cockpit for open air driving but it maintains the performance and luxury offering of the original Aventador. That V12 engine pushes this roadster to 62 mph in just 3 seconds before topping off at a 217 mph top end. While the open top provides a new level of excitement for high speed driving, we can’t imagine cruising at 217 mph in a convertible. But hey, we’ll try anything twice…
