New BMW 4-Series Coupe: Fresh Gallery

Here's new information on the just revealed BMW 4-Series Coupe straight from the mouth of the Bavarian brand. To be specific, we have a new gallery with over 140 pictures and details on the U.S. specification model that goes on sale later this summer including prices.
In the States, the 3-Series Coupe's successor will be offered initially as a 428i featuring a 240hp turbo'd 2.0-liter inline-four with prices starting from $41,425 ($1,800 more than the 2013 328i with a 230hp straight-six), and as the 435i with the 300hp 3.0-liter turbo-six with a base MSRP of $46,925 ($900 more than the 335i with the same engine).

The all-wheel drive 428i xDrive Coupe and 435i xDrive will start from $43,425 and $48,925 respectively. All of the aforementioned prices include destination and handling.

BMW says only an inch (26 mm) has been added to the car's length (182.6 in / 4,638 mm) compared to the 3-Series Coupe, but it has a 2-inch (50-mm) longer wheelbase (110.6 in / 2,810 mm), a 1.7inch (43-mm) increase in the width (71.9 in / 1,825 mm), and a roofline that is 0.6 inches (16 mm) lower than before (53.6 in / 1,362 mm).

Performance wise, the North American specification 435i accelerates from 0-60mph (96km/h) in 5.3 seconds with the 6-speed manual transmission, and 5 seconds with the 8-speed automatic, on its way to an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h) top speed when equipped with performance tires.

The base 428i Coupe completes the standard sprint to 60mph in 5.7 seconds and like its bigger brother, it also has an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph), when rolling on summer performance tires.

BMW has transferred the new trim packages that debuted on the 3-Series to the 4-Series, which will be available in Sport and Luxury Lines as well as an M Sport version with aerodynamic, wheel, interior and suspension upgrades.
